It’s a battle Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriends as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif are two top contenders to play Marilyn Monroe in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’.

Not long ago, Bollywood was abuzz with rumours that UTV, the producer of the film, was keen on Aishwarya to play the lead role in the film. However, to make the things more interesting, the producers have now decided to include Katrina Kaif in the fray.

Talking to a daily, a source said, “‘Heroine’ is now a toss-up between Aishwarya and Katrina. The film will go on floors as soon as either of them is finalized. The rest of the cast is not going to be too difficult to put together.”
