SHC adjourns petition by accused in Jeddah heroin case till Sept 29
A division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Mushir Alam and Justice Mohammad Ather Saeed on Wednesday adjourned hearing of a constitution petition filed by two accused in Jeddah Heroin Smuggling case till Sept 16.
Earlier, Deputy Attorney General submitted comments by the Ministry of Interior along with a copy of extradition treaty between Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The bench also heard a lawyer who moved an application on behalf of Raees Ahmed for becoming intervener in the petition. The bench asked the counsel for petitioners to supply copies to the counsel for intervener and adjourned further proceedings till Sept 29.
