Information Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mian Iftikhar Hussain’s son Mian Rashid Hussain, who was killed by unknown assailants here last day, has been buried at a graveyard in Pabbi on Sunday, Aaj News reported.
According to the report, Mian Rashid Hussain, only son of the provincial minister, was killed by two unknown attackers while he was walking home along with a friend in Pibbi area, District Nowshera.
Earlier, thousands of people, including Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Hoti, provincial ministers and ANP leaders, attended the funeral prayers of Mian Rashid. PML-N leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Punjab minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman also attended the funeral prayers.
Meanwhile, an FIR was lodged at the Pabbi Police Station against Hussain’s murder in the light of statement of Mian Amjad Hussain, who was also wounded in the attack. Police said that they have nominated three unknown assailants in the FIR.
