The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has announced a notable increase in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices for October 2024.
The new pricing reflects an increase of Rs7.31 per kilogram for domestic and commercial cylinders.
Ogra’s monthly assessment pointed to a 3.84% rise in the Saudi Aramco-CP, which serves as a benchmark for LPG pricing, as the primary reason for the hike.
Furthermore, a slight decline in the average dollar exchange rate also affected this price adjustment.
According to the notification, the price for an 11.8kg domestic LPG cylinder will now be Rs2965.38, rising from Rs2879.10 in September, resulting in a monthly increase of Rs86.28.
