The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) slashed on Tuesday the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by about Rs10 per kg, reducing the cost of 11.8kg domestic cylinder by almost Rs117 for November.

In a notification, Ogra set the price of LPG at Rs251.03 per kg for November. As such, the 11.8kg domestic cylinder price was set at Rs2,962 against Rs3,079 during the previous month.

Moreover, the price of a commercial cylinder (45.4kg) was set at Rs11,397.

Last month, Ogra increased the rate of LPG by more than Rs20 per kilogramme, ahead of the winter season in the country.
