Sons arrested for evicting elderly parents from their home in Rawalpindi

Four sons who tried to forcibly evict their 66-year-old mother and 76-year-old ailing father from their home has been arrested.

The City Police Officer (CPO) took note of the matter and directed the Superintendent of Police (SP) Pothohar to submit a report.

The four accused sons, identified as Kashif, Saqib, Atif, and Ali, were arrested on the complaint filed by the elderly woman.

The police registered a case based on the request of the elderly lady.

According to the complainant, her sons have been abusive towards her and have forced her out of the house. All four sons are also threatening to kill her.

According to the police officer, the mistreatment of parents is lamentable and the accused will be formally charged, and they will be given appropriate punishment.
