A suspected Fitna Al Hindustan militant has revealed details about the group’s recruitment, training and operational methods during interrogation, security sources said on Monday.

Security officials said the suspect, identified as Habibullah, claimed that he was recruited through false promises and financial incentives before being indoctrinated and trained for militant activities.

Habibullah, a resident of Ornach tehsil in Khuzdar district, claimed he was initially taken to Chanal Dasht, where he underwent ideological indoctrination before being shifted to the Sargarh camp for military training.

According to his account, he received training in the use of firearms and explosives, ambush tactics, concealment techniques and methods of evading security forces.

The arrested suspect also claimed that he was paid Rs25,000 to participate in attacks against fellow Baloch people.

He said the militant group provided weapons, operational instructions and communication support before each attack, while members were paid for taking part in terrorist operations.

Habibullah said that he had participated in attacks linked to Khuzdar, Bela, Nal and the Sonara camp.

He claimed that two civilians were killed when militants opened fire during an attack on a police checkpoint in Khuzdar.

The suspect also claimed he was identified during protests organised by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), after which security agencies launched an operation that led to his arrest.

According to Habibullah, many recruits joined the organisation because of unemployment and financial hardship.

He claimed that the militant group initially lured young men with promises of a better future before blackmailing them to prevent them from leaving.

The suspect further claimed that anyone attempting to quit the organisation was killed.

He also alleged that living conditions in militant camps were poor, food supplies were inadequate, and claimed that members often resorted to looting nearby villages to meet their basic needs.

Habibullah said he received Rs25,000 after participating in attacks in Khuzdar and Bela, adding that the organisation planned each operation in detail and provided militants with weapons, logistical support and other resources beforehand.
