Jungkook asks fans to stop pressuring BTS to speak English
1 min readBTS member Jungkook has urged fans to stop asking him to speak English during live broadcasts, saying he is learning the language at his own pace and should not be pressured.
During a recent Weverse Live session, Jungkook responded to repeated requests from viewers to speak English, saying he understood their comments and that communication did not need to be limited to one language.
He also encouraged fans to consider learning Korean, saying mutual understanding should work both ways. Jungkook added that he is studying English but asked fans not to rush or pressure him.
Many fans supported his remarks online, calling on others to stop forcing BTS members to speak English during live sessions.
Later in the livestream, Jungkook also addressed comments asking him to go to sleep, saying he naturally stays awake until around 2am and was not overworking himself.
This is not the first time BTS members have addressed repetitive fan requests during live broadcasts.
Suga has previously declined requests to speak English, while J-Hope has said he is still learning the language.
Other members, including RM and V, have also urged fans to avoid repetitive comments and be more considerate during livestreams.
