Security forces foil cross-border attack, inflict losses in Chaman
1 min readSecurity forces have successfully repelled unprovoked aggression by Afghan Taliban fighters along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, and achieved key gains under the ongoing operation Ghazab lil-Haq, security sources said on Wednesday.
According to the sources, during operations in the Chaman sector, security forces targeted and destroyed various Afghan Taliban posts and vehicles with precision strikes.
The action forced the attackers belonging to the Fitna Al Khawarij group to retreat.
Security officials said the timely and coordinated response inflicted heavy losses on the opposing side while maintaining control over the border situation.
The military reiterated its commitment to defending the country, stating that it would ensure Pakistan’s territorial integrity at all costs.
The operation will continue until all its objectives are fully achieved, the sources added.
