Gold prices fall sharply in Pakistan
1 min readGold prices in Pakistan decreased significantly on Tuesday in line with their losses in the international market. In the local market, the gold price per tola reached Rs485,062 after a loss of Rs8,900 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs415,862 after it decreased by Rs7,630, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, the gold price per tola reached Rs493,962 after a gain of Rs800 during the day.
The international rate of gold was down by $89 to reach $4,627 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver decreased by Rs238 to reach Rs7,811 per tola, a new all-time high.
