Gold prices fall sharply in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased significantly on Tuesday in line with their losses in the international market.

In the local market, the gold price per tola reached Rs485,062 after a loss of Rs8,900 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs415,862 after it decreased by Rs7,630, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, the gold price per tola reached Rs493,962 after a gain of Rs800 during the day.

The international rate of gold was down by $89 to reach $4,627 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver decreased by Rs238 to reach Rs7,811 per tola, a new all-time high.
