Gold prices surge in Pakistan as global rates jump

Gold prices in Pakistan have risen sharply following a surge in international rates, pushing per tola price to Rs504,162 on Wednesday.
The price of 10 grams of gold increased to Rs432,237 after a rise of Rs13,460, while the per tola rate went up by Rs15,700 in the local market.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $156, reaching $4,814 per ounce.
