The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) got underway in Lahore on Thursday, as defending champions Lahore Qalandars took on debutants Hyderabad Kingsmen in the tournament’s opening clash.

The match is being played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, where Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bat first.

Cricket fans across the country have shown strong enthusiasm for the tournament.

However, matches are being viewed exclusively on television and via live streaming platforms this year.

Due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the brewing fuel crisis, spectators have not been allowed in the stadium for this edition of the PSL.
