Trump warns Iran to take US proposals seriously
1 min readUS President Donald Trump has warned Iranian authorities to “get serious” about the US proposals, claiming that Tehran is “militarily obliterated” and has no chance of recovering if talks fail.
In a series of tweets on Thursday, Trump described the Iranian negotiators as “very different and strange” and said they publicly claim that they are merely “looking at our proposal”.
The US president warned them to urgently pursue a deal “before it is too late”.

He cautioned that there would be “no turning back” if negotiations were delayed and that the consequences for Iran would be severe.

Trump also took aim at NATO countries, claiming they “have done absolutely nothing” to support the United States in dealing with Iran.
He emphasised that the US “needs nothing from NATO” but insisted that the lack of allied action should be remembered as a critical moment.
