Punjab governor hosts iftar for orphans and helpless children

Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan organised a VIP Iftar dinner at the Governor’s House on Friday in honour of orphans and helpless children.

The governor personally greeted the children, hugged them, and presented them with Eid gifts.

Speaking at the event, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said it was an honour to share Iftar with orphans and stressed that Islam teaches compassion and care for them.

He praised the efforts of welfare organisations that sponsor orphans and provide education and training.

He noted that orphans and helpless children receive special protocol at the Governor’s House, and expressed satisfaction at seeing them participate in the event.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan added that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will focus on supporting orphans and providing them with opportunities to progress.
