The final Twenty20 International (T20I) between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played at Rangiri International Stadium in Dambulla on Sunday, after the second game was abandoned due to rain.

Pakistan lead the series 1-0, having won the opening match by six wickets on Wednesday.

The decider promises to be closely contested as both sides prepare for next month’s T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan, which will play all its World Cup matches in Sri Lanka, is scheduled to host Australia for a three-match T20 series prior to the tournament.

Sri Lanka, meanwhile, will host England later this month in a white-ball series.
