ICC announces match officials for U19 Men’s World Cup 2026

17 umpires and 4 referees from 13 countries to oversee tournament in Zimbabwe and Namibia

The ICC has announced the match officials for the 2026 Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, which will be held in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

A total of 17 umpires and four match referees will officiate during the tournament, representing 13 different countries.

Pakistan’s Faisal Afridi has been included in the umpiring panel.

The match referees come from England, India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Zimbabwe, the host nation, will have two umpires in the panel.

Former Zimbabwean cricketer Forster Mutizwa and former West Indies cricketer Daren Butler will also perform umpiring duties. England’s Graham Lloyd has been named among the umpires as well.

The tournament promises to showcase young talent under the supervision of an experienced and diverse panel of officials.
