Four rescued after chairlift stalls in Swat
Four people, including a child and a woman, were rescued safely after a chairlift suddenly stopped in the scenic Bahrain area of Swat on Thursday, officials said.
The chairlift developed a technical fault, leaving the passengers stranded mid-air.
Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the site immediately after receiving the alert and launched a coordinated rescue operation.
Disaster response, water rescue and medical teams took part in the operation.
Rescue officials said all four individuals were brought down safely through timely and effective action, and no injuries were reported.
Following the incident, authorities reviewed safety and security arrangements in the area to prevent similar incidents in the future.
