PM Shehbaz Sharif to visit Turkmenistan on December 11
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Turkmenistan on December 11 to participate in an international peace forum, officials said on Tuesday.
The prime minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar, and other senior officials.
During his stay, the prime minister is expected to meet Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow and review progress on the TAPI gas pipeline project.
The forum is likely to be attended by leaders from Russia, Iran, and Central Asian countries.
During his stay, Prime Minister Shehbaz is likely to hold meetings with other world leaders, with discussions centred on bilateral cooperation, regional stability, economic partnerships and energy projects.
The visit highlights Pakistan’s efforts to deepen its diplomatic ties and work closely with regional countries on shared regional and economic priorities.
