Three police personnel, including SP Operations Asad Zubair, were martyred and one was injured in two back-to-back bomb blasts in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Thursday, police sources said.

According to police, terrorists first detonated explosives at the Gulmina check post. As SP Operations Asad Zubair and a heavy police contingent moved towards the site to inspect the scene, their vehicle was hit by another blast.

Police said the attack directly targeted the vehicle of SP Asad Zubair. The area was cordoned off, and the injured officer was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
