A tragic road accident occurred near the Shah Maqsood Interchange on the Hazara Motorway in Haripur.

In accident, a speeding trailer collided with a car, killing five members of the same family on the spot. The victims included two women.

According to initial reports, the car was traveling from Havelian to Rawalpindi when it was struck by the trailer.

The deceased have been shifted to Havelian Hospital. The family is reported to be from Gilgit.

The trailer driver fled the scene following the accident. Authorities have launched an investigation and efforts are underway to apprehend the driver.
