Trinasolar’s Vertex N Series Shines with Global Awards, Boosting Trust in Pakistan’s Solar Sector

Accolades bolster credibility for Pakistan’s solar buyers seeking reliable options

Trinasolar’s Vertex N series solar modules have swept top global reliability awards, reinforcing confidence in Pakistan’s rapidly expanding solar market.

At the recent SNEC trade show considered the most significant global gathering for solar and smart energy technologies Trinasolar’s Vertex N modules were recognized by two of the most trusted third-party testing organizations in the industry: Kiwa PVEL and the Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC).

These accolades signal more than just international praise they offer a major credibility boost for Pakistan’s solar buyers looking for dependable, high-efficiency options in an increasingly crowded marketplace.

The Vertex N series received the “Top Performer” designation in Kiwa PVEL’s 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard for the eleventh consecutive year. Simultaneously, RETC named the modules “Overall Highest Achiever” in its 2025 PV Module Index Report, marking the fifth year in a row Trinasolar has taken that honor.

These rankings are not symbolic—they’re based on grueling tests including hail impact simulations, extreme temperature cycling, and hotspot endurance, where only a small number of manufacturers consistently pass.

According to RETC CEO Cherif Kedir, Trinasolar’s performance stands out. “Among all the manufacturers we evaluated, only 12 qualified this year, and Trinasolar has been among them for five straight years,” he noted. “That speaks volumes.”

What sets the Vertex N series apart technically is a combination of robust design and advanced technology. The series features thicker glass 25% more than conventional panels and up to 2.5 times better resistance to impact, including hailstones as large as 75mm.

They’re also engineered with n-type i-TOPCon cells, which offer ultra-low degradation and increased bifacial power generation features particularly suited to Pakistan’s climate conditions.

This recognition comes at a critical time for Pakistan. The country is pushing toward a goal of 10GW of solar capacity by 2030, amid rising demand across commercial, industrial, and utility sectors. In that context, global validation of module reliability is more than an engineering achievement it’s a market signal.

Trinasolar’s modules are already powering several notable projects across Pakistan, including a 2.5MW installation at Tahir Rafique Textile Mills in Faisalabad, a 561kW system at Crescent Steel in Karachi, and 1MW at PKLI Hospital in Lahore. These projects are helping industries lower energy costs while advancing sustainability goals.

The company’s recent partnerships with Pakistani distributors such as Mesol, Diwan, NMC Group, and Premier Energy are making its award-winning modules more accessible nationwide.

“Reliability is the cornerstone of long-term value and customer trust,” said Gao Lei, Head of Global Product Management at Trinasolar. “These awards are a testament to our innovation and product quality. We’re proud to support Pakistan’s clean energy future.”

With global credentials now backed by a growing local footprint, Trinasolar’s presence in Pakistan may well signal a new benchmark in solar quality one that both developers and policymakers are likely to watch closely.
