Morning drizzle brings relief from heat in Karachi
Karachi experienced a drizzle in several areas during the morning hours, bringing a welcome break from the recent heat.
Neighborhoods including Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Sohrab Goth, Liaquatabad, University Road, and the Federal B Area received light rainfall, offering residents some relief from the rising temperatures.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported that Karachi is expected to remain mostly cloudy and humid throughout the day.
Also, the forecast predicted a continued chance of drizzle in different parts of the city.
As of now, the temperature stands at 31 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels at 79%.
Meteorologists forecast that the maximum temperature will range between 34 degrees Celsius and 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum has been recorded at 29.5 degrees Celsiuss.
Southwesterly winds are currently blowing at a speed of 20 km/h, contributing to the relatively pleasant weather.
Looking ahead, weather experts predict that Karachi will experience partly cloudy skies over the next few days, with the possibility of light drizzle in some areas.
