Turkish FM, Ishaq Dar condemn Israeli strikes on Iran
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss the escalating regional crisis following Israel’s unjustified attacks on Iran.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, both foreign ministers expressed deep concern and outrage over the unprovoked Israeli attacks on Iranian territory.
The spokesperson stated that Deputy Prime Minister Dar confirmed his participation in the upcoming OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting and the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum event in honour of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, both scheduled to be held in Istanbul next week.

This high-level contact follows a telephone conversation between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Erdoğan held a day earlier, during which both leaders condemned the Israeli aggression and expressed grave concern over its implications for regional security.
On June 13, Israel launched a series of air strikes targeting residential neighbourhoods in Tehran and several military and nuclear facilities across Iran.
The attacks reportedly resulted in the deaths of several high-ranking Iranian military commanders, at least six nuclear scientists, and dozens of civilians.
In retaliation, Iran’s armed forces carried out a devastating counterstrike, launching ballistic missiles at multiple cities in Israeli-occupied territories, significantly raising the threat of wider regional conflict.
