Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian during which he strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic.

Expressing full solidarity with Iran, the prime minister denounced the Israeli attacks as a grave violation of regional sovereignty and international laws.

“These strikes are not only an attack on a sovereign state but also a blatant breach of the United Nations Charter and established international legal norms,” Prime Minister Shehbaz stated during the call.

He emphasised that Iran has the inherent right to self-defence under the UN Charter and reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for Iran in the face of unjust aggression.
