Iran arrests two alleged Mossad agents, foils major sabotage plot
Iranian security forces have arrested two individuals linked to Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, in an operation in the sensitive province of Alborz.
According to Iranian state media, the suspects were caught red-handed while assembling explosives, in what authorities called a major counter-intelligence success.
Security officials stated that the operation prevented a potential sabotage attempt.

Explosive materials, digital equipment, and other sensitive items were recovered from the suspects at the time of arrest.
Iranian authorities claim the individuals were part of a larger plot to create unrest within the country and had direct ties to an Israeli intelligence network.
Sources said that further interrogations were underway, and additional arrests may follow based on preliminary confessions and digital evidence.
The operation comes amid heightened tensions following ongoing Iranian strikes on Israeli targets.
In a related development, Iranian forces conducted a separate operation in the city of Yazd, arresting five individuals accused of espionage and having ties with Israel.
These suspects allegedly sent photos and videos of sensitive Iranian installations to Israeli intelligence services.
