On April 28, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) announced that Karachi is expected to face intense heat today, accompanied by severe humidity.

Looking ahead, on May 11, the PMD forecasts maximum temperatures to reach 36 degrees Celsius, but the heat index may feel as though it exceeds 40 degrees due to high humidity levels.

Additionally, on May 12, the Meteorological Office reported that most regions of the country are likely to experience dry and hot weather over the next 24 hours. However, some areas may see heavy rain and hail.
