Ishaq Dar: The ball is in India’s court after Pakistan’s retaliatory actions
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has stated that following Pakistan’s retaliatory actions against India, the ball is now in India’s court regarding its next steps.
He criticized India for its deceitful tactics, claiming it has acted with hostility while pretending to be friendly, yet Pakistan has maintained its patience.
In a recent statement, Dar emphasized that Pakistan is currently only responding to India’s provocations, but they reserve the right to hold India accountable for its actions.
He noted that no evidence has been presented against Pakistan, despite ongoing lies and allegations from the adversarial nation.
The Foreign Minister highlighted Pakistan’s enduring patience amidst India’s double standards and revealed that he had received conflicting messages while different actions were being taken on the ground, indicating clear evidence of India’s behavior.
Dar warned that if India does not de-escalate, Pakistan is prepared to respond decisively and will continue this stance to ensure accountability for past actions.

He reiterated that the international community recognizes India’s extensive falsehoods, which cannot be altered in the digital age. He affirmed that Pakistan’s measures are defensive, and friendly nations acknowledge their position.
In a separate discussion, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal expressed hope that India would pursue diplomatic negotiations to ease tensions. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to upholding the pledge of not using nuclear weapons.
