Over 50 Pakistani candidates are preparing to compete in Canada’s forthcoming federal elections set for April 28.
The Liberal Party of Canada has over 15 Pakistani-origin candidates competing for election.
Moreover, the New Democratic Party featured over 10 candidates of Pakistani descent.
Preparations for the general elections in Canada are now complete, with electoral activities entering their final stages.
Additionally, Sikh leader Jagmeet Singh is actively campaigning, further highlighting the diverse representation in this election.
The Centrist Party, headed by a leader of Pakistani origin, includes a considerable number of nominees from the same background.
Significantly, the leader’s daughter, Zainab Rana, a Grade 12 student, is running in the elections and is recognized as the youngest candidate in the contest.
