Nine TTP-linked terrorists arrested in Azad Jammu Kashmir
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Interior Minister, Colonel (R) Waqar Ahmed Noor, announced the arrest of nine terrorists affiliated with the banned Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
During a press conference, he revealed that security forces have successfully dismantled a terrorism network operating within the region.
Colonel Noor stated that these terrorists had been receiving training across the border and emphasized that they were also receiving financial support from there.
He highlighted that one of the arrested individuals, a terrorist named Saqib, was captured on March 19 in Azad Pattan, following the identification by another suspect, Zarnosh.
The Interior Minister reaffirmed the commitment of security forces to combat terrorism and maintain peace in Azad Kashmir.
