The law enforcement agencies have successfully apprehended Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Shura Council leader Nasrullah alias Maulvi Mansoor.

The development was confirmed by Balochistan Home Minister Zia Langove during a press conference in Quetta today.

“We are pleased to inform you about a significant success. Law enforcement agencies carried out an important operation yesterday and arrested a key terrorist commander. A major terrorist network has been dismantled as a result of this operation,” Langove stated.

Nasurallah blamed the Indian agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) for supporting the terrorists, stating that the neighboring country shelters these terrorists on its land.

The video was also played of Nasrullah who introduced himself, confirming that he belongs to the Mahsud tribe in South Waziristan.

“Before the establishment of TTP since 2005 I have been participating in terrorist activities from the platform of Baitullah Mehsud. In January 2024 TTP Ameer Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud and Defense Minister Mufti Muzahim called me to Kandahar, Afghanistan. When TTP came into existence in 2007, I joined.”

“In January 2024 TTP Ameer Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud and Defense Minister Mufti Muzahim called me to Kandahar, Afghanistan, and told me to go there for a special purpose. I was to go to Balochistan, Pakistan, and Indian intelligence RAW was also involved, which wanted the nexus of BLA and TTP and establishment of camps (markaz) for TTP in the Khuzdar area of Balochistan.” Nasrallah said in the video.

According to Nasurallah, Mufti Noor Wali Mahsud and Mufti Muzahim had allies from RAW, who had three objectives including establishing a foothold in Balochistan, sabotaging CPEC projects and to spreading anarchy and frustration in people. This involved crossing the border from Spin Buldak into Balochistan with the help of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) guide.

According to Nasrullah, he participated directly in terrorist activities during the Zarb-e-Azb operation and fled to Pakistan, where he began residing in Paktika. He was involved in terrorist activities against Pakistan’s security agencies, including several attacks on various Pakistani army posts in North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, and along the Pak-Afghan border.

Nasrullah further stated that his responsibility was to centrally control all military, financial, and administrative affairs of the banned organization, and he was in charge of handling the weapons and ammunition being sent to Pakistan.
