Adiala jail authorities ignores court order medical check-up, communication with his children
The founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, is facing significant legal challenges as authorities at Adiala Jail refuse to comply with a court order regarding his medical check-up and communication with his children.
Recently, the Special Court Islamabad Judge issued a ruling that allowed Khan’s physicians to conduct a medical check-up and granted him the ability to communicate with his children via telephone.
However, jail officials have reportedly evaded compliance with these orders, raising concerns about discriminatory treatment.
Khan’s lawyer, Khalid Yousaf, expressed frustration over the situation, stating that they have approached the court again to ensure the enforcement of its rulings.
He emphasized that Khan is being deprived of his legal and human rights.
