Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that speaking against those who sacrifice their lives for the nation is the gravest crime.

He praises the Army Chief, calling him a true patriot and an outstanding professional, adding that “the Army Chief speaks only what is in his heart.”

Addressing the Overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad, the Prime Minister expresses deep appreciation for the contributions and patriotism of overseas Pakistanis. “Overseas Pakistanis are our crown jewels,” he says, adding that more than ten million Pakistanis live abroad and are sending billions of dollars back home.

He highlights their role in raising Pakistan’s flag worldwide and says no concessions are enough to repay their efforts. “No one can look at Pakistan with a hostile eye,” he adds, stressing that everyone knows where the roots of terrorism lie and who supports and funds these acts.

The Prime Minister recalls that over 80,000 Pakistanis have laid down their lives for peace. He says terrorism was eradicated by 2018 but is now resurfacing, and “everyone knows who the facilitators and funders are.”

Shehbaz Sharif also condemns anti-Pakistan rhetoric in the UK, particularly targeting martyrs. Quoting the Quran, he says, “Do not call the martyrs dead.” He urges the diaspora to counter such narratives respectfully.

He pledges political and diplomatic support for the people of Kashmir and Gaza, stating that “in Gaza, 50,000 of our brothers and sisters have been martyred, and ceasefire agreements are being blatantly violated.”

The Prime Minister also announces that video link facilities will soon be available for overseas Pakistanis to communicate directly with relevant ministers. He says he has directed the NADRA chairman to implement this facility immediately.
