PTI launches ‘Plan B’ after Minar-e-Pakistan rally denied

Leadership has affirmed that it will intensify its public outreach campaign

After being denied permission to hold a public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has begun working on an alternative strategy.

The party leadership has announced plans to organize corner meetings, rallies, and protest demonstrations at the Union Council level.

According to PTI Punjab’s Chief Organizer, Alia Hamza Malik, a protest rally will be held across Punjab on April 10. In Lahore, the rally will start at 1pm from GPO Chowk and conclude at the Punjab Assembly.

Aaliya Hamza stated that the rally is being held against the “unjust imprisonment” of PTI’s founder. She said the founder has been imprisoned for two years in baseless cases, and due to a lack of justice from the judicial system, it is now necessary for the public to take to the streets.

She further added that the government is afraid of PTI’s rallies and is even terrified of the PTI founder’s image. Alia Hamza announced that political gatherings and activities will now be held at every Union Council level.

PTI leadership has affirmed that it will intensify its public outreach campaign and use every possible platform to keep the public informed about the current political situation.
