Earthquake tremors strike Swat, Mingora, residents evacuate in fear
Residents of Swat and the surrounding areas of Mingora experienced earthquake tremors on March 5 (today), prompting many to flee their homes and buildings in fear.
There have been no reports of casualties or property damage.
The seismic center reported that the earthquake registered a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 64 kilometers.
The epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush mountain, an area known for its historical seismic activity.
Despite the brief duration of the tremors, the intensity was enough to instill fear among the local population.
A week ago, Islamabad, Peshawar and several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced strong earthquake tremors, sending people rushing out of their homes while reciting prayers.
