Residents in Sibi and nearby regions experienced an earthquake early on Friday.

The Seismological Center reported that the earthquake registered a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 18 kilometers.

The epicenter was situated 22 kilometers from Sibi, with the tremors being recorded at 5:20am.

Two weeks prior, tremors from an earthquake were felt in Zhob district, Balochistan province, Pakistan. The National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad reported an earlier, stronger earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale at 35 kilometers depth, with an epicenter 106 kilometers south of Zhob.
