Nintendo launches news app

Nintendo has announced its new mobile app, during its keynote presentation, Direct Keynote called Nintendo Today.

A new app has been introduced to provide fans with daily updates on the latest Nintendo news and announcements.

The app will deliver news about Nintendo games and insights on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Users can enjoy personalised content featuring favorite Nintendo characters, videos, and comic strips tailored to individual preferences.

Additionally, the app includes an animated character that can be customized with themes from popular franchises such as Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Animal Crossing.

Nintendo Today features an event schedule to help fans track upcoming Nintendo Direct presentations, game releases, and in-game events.

Users can filter events based on categories or specific games they are playing.

Furthermore, the app offers a customisable homescreen widget that displays a calendar and content from within the app. This widget can be personalized with art from beloved Nintendo game series and themed wallpapers.

The app is now available for free on iOS and Android but requires a Nintendo account for access.
