Jaffar Express departs from Quetta after 17 days
The train journey from Quetta to Peshawar, which had been suspended for 17 days, has finally been restored. Jaffar Express, departed from Quetta for Peshawar following its revival. Provincial Assembly member Jamal Shah Kakar was present to send off the train.
The Jaffar Express, consisting of 10 carriages, embarked for Peshawar Cantonment with 400 passengers onboard.
The Jaffar Express that departed from Peshawar a day earlier is en route to Quetta, carrying 280 passengers after being delayed for 16 days. Federal Minister Amir Maqam initiated the departure of the train from Peshawar.
Speaking to Aaj News at the Multan railway station, passengers described their train journey as pleasant, while emphasizing the need for a complete eradication of terrorism in the country.

It is noteworthy that on March 11, the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) attacked the Jaffar Express, taking passengers hostage. Security forces successfully eliminated all terrorists within two days of the operation.
