A car veered off the road and plunged into a canal, resulting in the deaths of five family members, in Duragai tehsil of Malakand,.

The bodies have since been transported to a local hospital.

The accident occurred near the Khatkoshah Afghan refugee camp on the outskirts of Duragai when the vehicle lost control due to heavy rainfall.

The deceased family members included two women, two young girls, and their driver.

Emergency responders, including Malakand Levies and Rescue teams, swiftly arrived at the scene to recover the bodies from the canal and facilitate their transfer to Duragai Hospital.
