Hajj flights from Pakistan likely to begin on May 1
The schedule for Pakistan’s Hajj flights has been finalised, with the first departure set for May 1, 2025, according to sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The official flight schedule is expected to be released by April 10.
This year, 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims will perform Hajj, with approximately 89,000 travelling under the government scheme.
The Hajj operation will span 30 days, with the final flight departing on May 30.
Five airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and a Saudi carrier, will operate the flights to Saudi Arabia.

The launch of Hajj flights comes nearly 35 days after Saudi Arabia reopened its airspace for the pilgrimage season.
