Karachi’s Commissioner has issued an immediate notification enforcing a ban on all protests, rallies, and processions across the city until further notice.

According to details, this move comes in response to a request from the Additional Inspector General of Police, Karachi Range, aimed at maintaining peace and order in the city.

To ensure public safety, Section 144 has been imposed, prohibiting gatherings of five or more individuals. The law grants the police the authority to take strict action against any violators, including registering cases.

The restrictions are now in effect, with authorities urging the public to comply with the order to avoid legal consequences. Law enforcement agencies have been instructed to monitor the situation closely and act swiftly to prevent any unauthorized demonstrations or mass gatherings.
