In a daring act of bravery, locals in Tirah Valley thwarted a terrorist attempt to abduct a Pakistan Army soldier on leave.

According to security sources, armed militants attacked the soldier’s home in Bar Qambar Khel, Tirah Valley, but faced fierce resistance from the community.

The terrorists stormed the house and attempted to forcibly take away Noor Saleem, son of Khalwat, a soldier from the 7 Baloch Unit currently serving in Awaran, Balochistan.

As the assailants forcefully entered, they fired at women inside the house, but fortunately, no casualties were reported.
