A convoy of 250 vehicles has successfully arrived in Parachinar, carrying essential supplies including oil tankers, food items, and medicines.

This convoy was delayed due to a road blockage caused by an overturned trailer, but police and district officials coordinated to manage the situation.

In total, 450 vehicles have now made it to Parachinar.

The Traders Union President announced that the distribution of food supplies to residents has commenced following the convoy’s arrival.

The district administration confirmed that vehicles were sent from Thal to both Upper and Lower Kurram, with ongoing efforts to maintain peace and order in the region.

However, despite the arrival of supplies, prices in Parachinar have remained unchanged.

Local residents have raised concerns about the lack of price regulation, noting that essential items are still being sold at previous rates.

Reports indicate that a sack of sugar is priced at Rs10,000, ghee at Rs8,800, and a 50-kilogram sack of flour at Rs6,500.
