Attaullah Tarar: Indian media, PTI and BLA echoed the same narrative on Jaffar Express attack
Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said that the operation in Balochistan successfully concluded with the elimination of 33 terrorists who had taken passengers of the Jaffar Express hostage.
He criticised Indian media, PTI, and BLA, claiming that they were all pushing the same narrative regarding the train attack.
Addressing a press conference, Tarar expressed gratitude that the security operation had reached its logical conclusion, ensuring the safe rescue of hostages.
He said that before the operation began, 21 people had lost their lives, and four army personnel were martyred.

The operation was carried out by the Pakistan Army, FC, SSG commandos, and the Air Force, who demonstrated extraordinary skill and bravery in neutralizing the terrorists.
“There were 440 passengers onboard, and thanks to the swift action of our forces, we avoided a major catastrophe,” Tarar stated.
The minister accused the Indian media and certain political elements of engaging in false propaganda over the attack.
“Unfortunately, some tried to exploit this tragedy for political gains,” he said.
Targeting PTI, he alleged that the Indian media, BLA, and PTI were all speaking in the same tone about the incident.
“PTI should be ashamed of spreading false narratives instead of acknowledging the facts of the operation,” he added.
Tarar stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had commended the security forces for their courage and operational excellence. He reiterated that the government would not rest until terrorism was completely eradicated from Pakistan.
“The entire state apparatus — including Pakistan Army, police, Rangers, and intelligence agencies — is actively pursuing terrorists,” he asserted.
He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Government of Pakistan, and the Pakistan Armed Forces, under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, are unwavering in their resolve to eradicate the menace of terrorism from its roots.
Tarar added that PM Shehbaz Sharif had spoken to the Balochistan chief minister and would visit the province to discuss a comprehensive counterterrorism strategy.
