CJP Yahya Afridi: Women judges’ resilience strengthens Pakistan’s legal system
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi has lauded the role of women judges in ensuring justice, emphasising that a more supportive environment will be provided for women lawyers and judges.
He stated that the resilience of women judges has further strengthened the legal system.
In his message on the International Day of Women Judges, Chief Justice Afridi welcomed the increasing representation of women in Pakistan’s judiciary, calling it a positive step forward.
He stressed that recognising the contributions of women judges is a responsibility and that gender equality and their inclusion in the judiciary mark significant progress.
