PTI founder is healthy and in good spirits, no ear infection, she tells media outside Adiala Jail

Aleema Khan has reaffirmed that PTI founder Imran Khan is not considering any deal.

“What could they possibly demand from him in a deal?” she asked while addressing the media outside Adiala Jail.

She assured everyone that Imran Khan was in good health and high spirits, dismissing rumours about his medical condition.

“We met him today after a week. All his court hearings have been postponed. We also met Bushra Bibi, and I can confirm that Imran Khan looked completely fine and happy,” she said.

Aleema Khan criticised elements spreading false information on social media.

“Establishment-backed touts are sitting online, fabricating rumours. Who are their sources? Now, they are saying Imran Khan has developed a brain infection. These are baseless claims. God is protecting him,” she remarked.

She further alleged that Imran Khan’s personal physician was being denied access to him and that he was also not allowed to communicate with his children.

She confirmed that Barrister Salman Akram Raja had been assigned the responsibility of handling Imran Khan’s personal petitions.

Speaking on the Al-Qadir Trust case, she claimed that a verdict could be expected within a week.

However, she alleged that a specific judge, “Dogar,” had been brought in to block the appeal, calling it part of a pressure campaign against Imran Khan.

Imran opposes the renaming of the stadium

The PTI founder has reiterated his stance, stating, “No matter what they do, I will not strike a deal.”

He also expressed his disapproval of the renaming of Arbab Niaz Stadium and demanded that its original name be restored.

As part of the scheduled visitation day at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan met his legal team and family in a conference room. Bushra Bibi was also present.

His three sisters and a cousin visited him, alongside a legal team that included Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja, Barrister Ali Zafar, Faisal Chaudhry, Naeem Panjutha, Mubashir Awan, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, Barrister Rai Salman, and Advocate Tabish Farooq.

A total of ten individuals were allowed to meet Khan at a time. However, Mishal Yousafzai was denied permission to visit.

Following the meeting, Barrister Salman Akram Raja addressed the media, reiterating that the PTI founder’s health is in good condition. He also confirmed that Niazullah Niazi has been appointed as his spokesperson.

Advocate Tabish Farooq further revealed that Bushra Bibi has removed Mashal Yousafzai from her spokesperson position and appointed four focal persons: Naeem Panjutha, Mubashir Maqsood Awan, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, and Rai Salman.

Barrister Salman Safdar also spoke to the media, comparing the government’s legal strategy against the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi to different cricket formats.

He stated that the government initially pursued cases with a “T20” approach, then shifted to a “One-Day International” format, where cases gradually lost momentum.

Now, he claims, a “Test match” strategy is being employed, with prolonged court dates, making it unlikely that any hearings will take place at Adiala Jail during Ramazan.
