Local and international gold prices plunged on Friday. The price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,500, settling at Rs300,500.

The price of 10 grams dropped by Rs2,143, bringing it down to Rs257,639.

Silver prices also declined by Rs64, trading at Rs3,240 per tola.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $24, trading at $2,863 per ounce.
