Karachi’s Peoples ‘Red’ Bus Service claims life near Khokhrapar, Malir

A citizen was killed after being hit by a Peoples ‘Red’ Bus Service near Khokhrapar, Malir district in Karachi on Monday, rescue officials said.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Razak. He was also a driver of the bus service.

The police reported that the bus driver, identified as Faizan, had been arrested and the vehicle had been taken to the police station.

According to the deceased’s family, Razak was crossing the road when the vehicle struck him and he died on the spot.

The body of the victim has been sent to Jinnah Hospital for legal proceedings.

Three months ago, seven individuals lost their lives in various traffic accidents across Karachi within just 24 hours.
