Grieving sisters watched helplessly as their brother was dragged off and shot
In a brutal act of targeted violence, armed assailants stopped passenger vehicles on the National Highway in Barkhan, conducted identity checks, and executed seven passengers from Punjab after confirming their origins.
Among the victims was Shaukat Ali, a Faisalabad resident, who was travelling home from Quetta after attending a condolence visit.
Gunmen forcibly removed him from the bus and shot him, leaving his grieving sisters helpless inside.
His sister, an eyewitness to the horrific killing, recounted the ordeal: “They checked my brother’s ID, dragged him off the bus, and killed him.”
Shaukat, a resident of People’s Colony, Faisalabad, was returning from a relative’s funeral when he was executed in cold blood.
Another victim, 20-year-old Ihsan from Dijkot, had recently secured a job in Quetta and was returning home for the first time when he was gunned down by the attackers.
