Prime minister reaffirms Pakistan’s desire to work with Trump administration for stronger ties
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s desire to work with Donald Trump’s administration to strengthen bilateral relations with the United States.
During a meeting with US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker, the Prime Minister acknowledged the longstanding ties between Pakistan and the US and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing relations under the Trump administration.
He emphasized the need to expand cooperation in key sectors such as trade, information technology, agriculture, health, education, and energy.
The prime minister also underscored the importance of continued collaboration in counterterrorism efforts, particularly in addressing threats posed by ISIS and other extremist groups.
